Orin Nano box PCs with built-in GNSS/GPS and IP67 for fleet tracking

Asked as: “Which Orin Nano box PCs have built-in GNSS/GPS and an IP67 rating? Fleet tracking on open trucks.”

Answered by the Rapidflare agent

I found 8 Orin Nano box PCs with built-in GNSS/GPS and an IP67 rating. Five are from NEXCOM, two from Syslogic and one from Ecotron.

* For all five NEXCOM units, the temperature range depends on the power mode. On the 3560, 3520-IP7-4C and 3520-IP7-AI4CR it also depends on PoE load.

Things to check for truck use:

  • Conflicting temperature figures: The product summaries for two units give lower maximums than their spec values: -25 to 60 °C for the ATC 3560-IP7-NA4C and -25 to 65 °C for the ATC 3562-IP7-NA4M. For the ATC 3520-IP7-4C, the spec table gives -30 to 65 °C at 25 W, while a feature bullet says up to 70 °C. Check the datasheet before you count on the upper limit. nexcom.com +2nexcom.com ↗“-25 to 60C”nexcom.com ↗“-25 to 65C”ai.nexcom.com ↗“The spec table gives -30 to 65 C at 25W”
  • Vehicle certification: The ATC 3560-IP7-NA4C and ATC 3562-IP7-NA4M list E13/E-mark certification, which is relevant for on-road vehicles. I couldn't find an E-mark listing for the other six. nexcom.com +1nexcom.com ↗“CE, FCC Class A, UKCA, E13”nexcom.com ↗“CE, FCC, UKCA, E-mark, EN 50155, EN 45545-2”
  • Power input: The ATC 3520-IP7-AI4CR is built for railway use and takes a fixed 24 V DC rail input, not a wide-range input. The others accept 9–36 V or 9–45 V. nexcom.comnexcom.com ↗“24V DC rail power input”
  • Mixed-module unit: The EAORA10 is an autonomous-driving controller that takes either an Orin NX or an Orin Nano module. It's the only unit on this list with a fan. ecotron.aiecotron.ai ↗“Autonomous driving domain controller on Jetson Orin NX/Nano”
  • Shock and vibration: All five NEXCOM units list MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration ratings. No shock or vibration ratings are given for the Syslogic or Ecotron units. nexcom.com +4nexcom.com ↗“MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 Procedure I, 20g operating”nexcom.com ↗“MIL-STD-810G 514.8C Procedure 6 Category 4”ai.nexcom.com ↗“MIL-STD-810G, 514.6C, Procedure 3, Category 4”nexcom.com ↗“MIL-STD-810G, 514.6C, Procedure 3, Category 4”nexcom.com.tw ↗“MIL-STD-810G, Method 516.6, Procedure I, functional shock=20g”

The 8 count covers only products with both GNSS/GPS and IP67 explicitly confirmed. Other Orin Nano box PCs may have these features without them being listed, so they wouldn't appear here.
