I found four carrier boards that list both Jetson TX2 NX compatibility and 5G cellular:
Carrier boards for Jetson TX2 NX with 5G forecr.io +3forecr.io ↗“Industrial carrier board for NVIDIA Jetson Nano, TX2 NX and Xavier NX.”lcfc.com.cn ↗“Jetson carrier/platform board supporting TX2 NX/Nano/Xavier NX; industrial edge AI.”auvidea.eu ↗“Auvidea compact carrier board for Jetson Orin NX / Orin Nano / Xavier NX”auvidea.eu ↗“Auvidea compact carrier board for Jetson Orin Nano/NX/Xavier NX/TX2 NX”
| Product | Manufacturer | Cellular | SIM slot | Lifecycle status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DSBOARD-NX2 | Forecr | 5G | Yes | EOL |
| EA-P300 | LCFC | 5G | Yes | Active |
| JNX45 | Auvidea | 5G | Yes | Active |
| JNX43 | Auvidea | 5G | Yes | Active |
Things to check before you choose:
- DSBOARD-NX2 is end-of-life (EOL). If you need a board you can keep buying, look at the other three, which are listed as Active. forecr.ioforecr.io ↗“identity.lifecycle_status=EOL”
- JNX45 has conflicting compatibility details. Its compatibility list includes Jetson TX2 NX. But its description and its supported-products list only name Orin NX, Orin Nano and Xavier NX, not TX2 NX. Please confirm TX2 NX support with Auvidea before you rely on it. auvidea.euauvidea.eu ↗“marketplace.supported_products=Orin NX, Orin Nano, Xavier NX”
- JNX43's supported-products list is shorter than its description. The description does name TX2 NX, but the supported-products list only shows Orin NX and Orin Nano. auvidea.euauvidea.eu ↗“marketplace.supported_products=Orin NX, Orin Nano”
- What "5G" means here isn't confirmed. It's listed as the board's cellular capability, and every board has a SIM slot. I couldn't confirm whether a 5G modem comes with the board or whether you add one through an M.2 B-key slot. The datasheets should say: DSBOARD-NX2, EA-P300, JNX45, JNX43. auvidea.euauvidea.eu ↗“io.m2_slots=B-key 3042/3052, E-key 2230, M-key 2280”
- This list may not be complete. Many carrier boards have no cellular details on file, so there may be other TX2 NX boards that support 5G but don't show up here.
