Of the stereo depth cameras with a published weight, the lightest one rated to -20 °C is the Stereolabs ZED X Mini at 151 g. Its operating range is -20 °C to 60 °C and it's rated IP67. Five stereo depth cameras are rated to -20 °C or colder. The two e-con Systems cameras go down to -30 °C, but I couldn't find a weight for either one. That means I can't confirm the ZED X Mini is lighter than them. stereolabs... +2stereolabs.com ↗“mechanical.weight_g=151 g”stereolabs.com ↗“thermal.min_operating_temp_c=-20 °C”stereolabs.com ↗“mechanical.ip_rating=IP67”

For a robot outside all winter:
- Weight: Of the cameras with a stated weight, the ZED X Mini is the lightest.
- Cold margin: Tara and TaraXL are the only ones rated below -20 °C. If your winters get colder than -20 °C, they have more headroom. Check their weight and enclosure rating on e-con Systems' product pages (TaraXL, Tara). e-consyste... +1e-consystems.com ↗“thermal.min_operating_temp_c=-30 °C”e-consystems.com ↗“thermal.min_operating_temp_c=-30 °C”
- RealSense D555: Its -20 to 50 °C range is a limit on the housing temperature, not the surrounding air temperature. store.real...store.realsenseai.com ↗“Operating -20 to50C is a housing/case limit”
