Things to check for PTZ cameras:
- How power is shared per port: Each figure above is a total shared across all PoE ports. I couldn't find per-port power limits for these models. For both Advantech units I also couldn't find which PoE standard (802.3af/at) they support. PTZ cameras with heaters or IR often draw more than standard PoE, so check the datasheet: MIC-712P-OX datasheet.
- Operating conditions: The MIC-712P-OX is rated for –25 to 70 °C. That range only holds with airflow, and it depends on the power mode. The MIC-717-OX is rated for 0 to 50 °C and needs 54 V input.
