The Jetson Orin NX 16GB is the most powerful production module in the 260-pin SO-DIMM form factor. It's rated at 100 TOPS in default mode and 157 TOPS in Super mode. nvidia.com +2nvidia.com ↗“performance.max_ai_tops=100 TOPS”nvidia.com ↗“performance.max_ai_tops_super=157 TOPS”nvidia.com ↗“mechanical.form_factor=260-pin SO-DIMM (69.6x45mm)”

Things to keep in mind:
- The two generations measure TOPS differently. Orin figures are sparse INT8, and Xavier figures are dense INT8. That's why the Orin NX and Xavier NX numbers aren't a like-for-like comparison.
- Super mode only exists on Orin NX and Orin Nano. That's why the Xavier NX, TX2 NX and Nano have no Super figure.
- There's no TOPS rating for the TX2 NX or Nano. For reference, their FP32 figures are 0.666 TFLOPS for the TX2 NX and 0.236 TFLOPS for the Nano. developer... +1developer.nvidia.com ↗“performance.max_fp32_tflops=0.666 TFLOPS”developer.nvidia.com ↗“performance.max_fp32_tflops=0.236 TFLOPS”
- FP32 on the Orin NX 16GB: 1.88 TFLOPS in default mode and 2.4 TFLOPS in Super mode. nvidia.com +1nvidia.com ↗“performance.max_fp32_tflops=1.88 TFLOPS”nvidia.com ↗“performance.max_fp32_tflops_super=2.4 TFLOPS”
- Power goes up in Super mode. The Orin NX 16GB's power range is 10–25 W in default mode and 10–40 W in Super mode, so check your carrier's power delivery and cooling before using Super mode. nvidia.comnvidia.com ↗“power.power_envelope=10-25 W, power.power_envelope_super=10-40 W”
Check compatibility with your carrier. Having the same 260-pin SO-DIMM connector doesn't confirm the Orin NX will work on your existing board. I only found a pin-compatibility statement for the TX2 NX, which is described as "Nano/Xavier NX pin-compatible." Check your carrier's design against the Orin NX module documentation before you switch. developer...developer.nvidia.com ↗“Nano/Xavier NX pin-compatible”
